Teenage Years...

From the time he was thirteen he had lived on the streets. James was caught up in gangs in New York City until he was 18. After that he started living in the country and growing drugs and making loads of money on it. One day his friend got caught and the feds were going to bust him on the property he was on. Hicks escaped and Lived back in his home town for years.

Lost Love...

Hicks Fell in love in his home town and told everyone to fuck off and would do ANYTHING for her. It almost go t her killed. Everyone called her a whore and all these mean names. So one day when they were walking down the street some guys decided to jump them and he got stabbed and to this day he is missing hi right kidney. He also had his jaw and knee dislocated from being hit with a baseball bat. But noo no no! That didnt stop him from protecting his love. He fought on and beat them back! Then they swung him in to the road where he got hit by a car. And he was laying there, on the road bleeding to death and the girl looked at him, shook her head at him, and then one of his attackers kissed her and her mom drove up. Picked her and this man up and they drove away leaving him for dead. Hicks was never trusting again to someone he loved so much.

Recruition

James Hicks joined the military and was shipped to afghanistan for training. Within four days of training he graduated as a Private. James Hicks went on his first patrol with, who would be a long time comrade and friend, Michael Scopefield.

On his first patrol, Private Hicks two other soldiers and Michael went to Six Alpha and linked up with a Platoon. He does not recall the Platoon's Leader, but he knows they were dragging men out of the tunnel and were holding in the outside of Six Alpha Tunnel. Thats where the first real action was witnessed.

On the traincar a Local stood. Some men climbed up and knocked him off trying to zip tie him. The Terrorist fell off of the traincar and pressed a detonator of some bombs ontop of the tunnel. The explosion traps the men in the tunnel and collapses it. Hicks fires at the fleeing terrorists missing...

This was his first piece of the action. By order of the Lieutenant he reported back to base and by the time he stepped into the barracks, gunfire was firing off outside. This is where Hicks will get his first wound.

Pung Lung, a private who Hicks graduated with tred to move into cover and was wounded nithe middle of the field. Hicks valiantly ran forward dragging his comrade into cover but suffered gunshot wounds in the shoulder and abdomine.

First Squad

Sergeant Ben Ferris was the Alpha Squad leader and he asked James to enlist in his squad. This is where Hicks would meet a great Comrade, Jason Hurtlock.Out of the three men trying out, James was the only to be rejected. He was depressed for a time. during this time he went out with his two friends and few other men on a patrol where he spotted a Taliban. When the Taliban left the junkyard, he went onto investigate. Him andthree others walked in and in one room was massive munitions. When they entered the room he tripepd a wire and explsions erupted around him almost killing him. This was his first near death situation.

[Training into the 305th]

After the nuclear strike, Hicks noticed the lack of medical personnel and applied for the 305th division. Max Fisher AKA "Doc" trained James well and he used his skills to fix up Hurtlock, Still his loyal companion and friend. And onto his day he works to earn the respect of his superiors and rank to the ultimate of his dreams of leading a squad into battle to furfill his dreams.....

The Wasteland:

After The Nuclear Strike, James stuck close to his friends, especially Doc, and Jason Hurtlock. Jason Hurtlock was like his brother and they shared guarding duties together, had shifts. Shared food, ammo and blood together. Hicks saved Jason's life and Jason did the same for him. Hicks is surethat he would do anything to keep his friend safe. If only he could do that the first time around.

LOGS:

23/1/12:

James Hicks was off Duty today where he was also issued a Barretta, But A new friend he met in the 305th, Skyler, A very inteligent Medic, was injured from a bullet wound to the stomach right above his hip. Hicks pulled the bullet out and fixed him up. Hicks then did go back off duty for the night. Hopefully saving the mans life will get him a promotion.

23/2/12:

Started his mornign as any other, grabbing a few waters and an orange and coffe from John Doe. Started guarding when it happened. Choppers flewover head andhe highfived his comrades! They thought it was evac. When they all ran to the evac site, Doc told us , "Shut up! get back to your positions!" They made us go on patrols around the woods. At one point we found a small hut by the gas station where the re was aholow part in the floor. It was a foxhole. We peeked in the vents to see that there was someone in there beting someone and interrogating. We learned that it was Fuller. We helkd our ground and waited for him to emerge. But we hearrd a gunshot then he came out of the foxhoel through the floor. Hicks was standing behind some rubble with his m4A1 on his shoulder and Scopefield was standing next to him by the foxhole. He was cornered... Hicks saw what would be the last time he would see his friend. The Man dropped grande at his feet and smiled at Michael and showed him he had the key in his hands, the look on Scopefields face is somthing Hicks will never forget. The Taliban and Niochael were both blown to bits... KILLED. in blood... Hicks said a few words... met with Jason Hurtlock and went back two base. The two of them are the last of the pact they made to protect each other. R.I.P. Michale Scopefield

23/3-5/12 :

The past few days have been about setting up our new camp and have been quite dull....

23/6-12/12:

Was on duty for a day, and saved Kenneth's life and a few others, and was awarded Medical Advacned 1. He is very proud of his achievement.

XX/XX/XXXX :

James his was proud! He finally was promoted to Private First Class! He was so happy to finally be promoted at the tanks to Max"Doc" Payne.

XX/XX/XXX:

James Has been promoted to Corporal! And he is now the second in command of the 305th! He recruited, James Dawn and one other man.

5/11/12: James Hicks carries a picutre and a cross and a few other objects which have been yet to be seen. He Lit a fire one night and sat in a chair and stared into it. He had a picture in one hand, and a letter in the other. James Hicks has never cried since he was young. Hick's has always fought through everything he had to. Turner was standing behind him looking at him sternly said, "Who is that beautiful girl?"

James Responded with no comment back and a sole tear ran down his face. He explained he left his sister when she was dating his best friend back home. His friend promised him that he would keep her safe. James Loved her, she was his best friend and the only real family that he knew cared about him. The Letter todl him, thta she was killed when his father found her with James's Bestfriend and killed them both at the hands of a spy. Since he was gaining respect and was rising in the ranks toward the 305th medical Division leader, someone did this to discourage him. Hicks was angry. Turner showed him the coin his father gave him and Hicks saw how he must stay close to his friends and not let depression take him over.

Later that day, during a patrol ,there was an explosion that almsot killed al lthe men. Hicks and the medics he trained, Jacob Ivy, James Dawn saved eight soliders and Hicks took a special liking to a soldier. The Private first Class Kattie Roy who was bashed in the head seemed to be okay, but he kept checking on her last night. But the two of them looked at each other tenderly as he inspected her and watched her leave....

5/14/12:

Today, When hewent on duty, he was called into the Medbay. Adder was shot in the shoulder, hit with shrapnel and fell off of aa watchtower. After he fixed up Adder Max'Doc'Fisher, The medical Division leader Radioed him, " Hicks! Get here Son!" So he reported to his leader. He solemly took off his battered 305th patch and handed it to him along with a Master Sergeant Cheevron. Hicks proudly accpeted the honor.

Later in the day, Hicks was working on some patients and Drake, Callsign, Sandstorm ran in. Yeleld at Hicks and Ivy that he needed help. Ther was a mjor firegiht and all of a sudden you here Alysa Yelling over the radio they need backup. Alysa and Tre, were both captured. a man named Dancer went with Hicks and the two of them ran around the mountain to flank the enemy. By the time they were in poisition, the terrorists were retreating with the POWs to their camp. Hicks Radios in, " Sandstorm! Get a Team of men, We are getting our men back! Sandstormand his men went up the riverbed and hd in the shadows off Yankee Seven while Dancer and Hicks went around the mountains gettign to high ground. By now it was dark and pouring rain. Dacner Covered Hicks from above and hicks slide down the mudsldie and jumped off of a rock landing inside of the base. He quickly Radioed in, "Sandstorm, ATTACK!"

Hicks went through the gap between two buildings and went up behinda terrorist and grabbed him around the throat and snapped his neck. Another one came out of the door a few feet to his right and turned and saw him. At that moment, Sandstorm, Kattie Roy, Ernest and another soldier charged in and the men with silenced weapons took out the enemies. Hick's Radio Was screaming at him. It was Jake Anthony! The leader of Alpha! Alpha assembled and made there way to the base. Sandstorm and his men helpd position outside to defend topside while the others secrued the bunker. Five men stayed up topside in that hellish monsoon. Hicks gave the order to Alpha, Advance.

The Team opened thefirst door and theMan saw them, and dropepd his gun saying, I surrender!!! They took him into custody and quickly made a right down the hallway. Corporal O'Bryan of Alpha Got to one side of th edoor, Jake Anthony got behind the other. In the room was Tre, And Alysa. The two terrorists would not comply. I'Bryan threw a flash granade in and then ran in and tackled on of them and Hicks ran in and Kicked the other in the fack, Breaking his nose. One of the men unshackled the POWs and some men hauled them out. Hicks and O'Bryan were the alst onces out. They locked the cell door behind them, trapping the two. Once they formed up near the gate all of a sudden men came over the mountain and near the gate shooting.... Kattie Roy, who was sort of Hick's Girl was near the front....

All the men scattered into the buildings. All of a suden the radio was loud and reports came in that, Ernest, Roy, and Jared Ivy were all hit. The Soldiers were getting slaughtered. Several U.S. Soldiers were shot downaand pulled out with surppressive fire. Hicks was in the second story of a building. Leaned aroudn the corner and squeezed the trigger popping two terrorists trying to flee the bunker in the legs. A Evac Humvee came into the base and the terrorists shot out the tires. The men held out there for a good two hours. Enemeis coming form all sides, and U.S. Soldiers scattered throughout the camp. All of a sudden a U.S. Chopper came over head, O'Bryan popped blue smoke and the chopper landed. Hicks immedaitly had Roy pushed in and the wounded. Al lthe men were extracted safely and Hicks, Was the last one to get in that chopper. Him and Nash Fought at the fornt holding them back, Once the chopper landed, Nash got in,and Hicks chumped in and bullets haield toward the chopper. Hicks Leaned out with one arm fired off several Shtos of his Desert Eagle at the men hitting no one, but suppresssing them. The three of them flew swiftly in the chopper together.

The Chopper landed and Hicks Sprinted to the Medbay to find Roy. She was sitting against the wall bleeding from the leg wit ha bullet lodged in her calf. Hicks gave her morphine and pulled the bullet out. He was bandaging her when she all of a sudden whispered in his hear, " I love you." Hicks, Not expecting this fell back on his ass for a moment. Paused and said, "I love you too" And he finished bandaging her. After he tended to the rest of the wounded he put his arm around Roy and walked quietly out to the desert. They stopped and he looekd her in the face tenderly. He said, "Im sorry, I was scared I lsoed you." She Replied, "You wont"..... Hicks says back to her, "About inside of the Medbay..." Roy cuts him off and says firmly, " I dont think you understood what I mean." And Hicks responds, "What do you mean?" She gently pulled down his blacava and lean forwards and kisses him. He wraps his arms around her and kisses her back. This moment is a moment of a real comrade and girl that Hick's Will protect for a long time.

After weeks of moving around, they were called back home. Finally, the Platoon was stationed at a Base on United States Soil named, "Devil's Nest". Hicks did not want to return home, seeming how he had nothing at home waiting for him. He handed in his Weapons reluctantly and sighed as he left. Once he went into his office in the Medical Bay, He sighed and started going through paperwork. Hicks checked the applications and as soon as he sent them back to whoever they were assigned to, men poured into the building asking for training.

Hicks sighed, at Katties dissappearence. Roy disspeeared and he hasnt seen her in a long time. This seemed to have depressed him. The friends he lost, he will never get out of his mind. Pluto, another member of the 305th was killed in a Car Bombing, Blackwood, was shot dead saving Hicks. The friends he made in the beginning, Kenneth Romiala, Jason Hurtlock, Michael Scopefield who maraculously survived the Nuclear Blast, seeming a new platoon found him and sent him home a long time ago. Jake Anthony, Anthony Turner, Max Fischer also known as Spade, Max Fischer also known as Doc who is Spade's older brother and Adam Fox all were his friends and still are. He met them in the field, made a bond of friendship, trust, and comrades who will support him. The men in the 305th are his children, he teaches them all he knows to carry on his work and he proudly sheds a tear as they raise in the ranks. The men he knoew who died will stay in hisheart forever. The ones who died in battle next to him, will be a video, replaying over and over in his daydreams. The men who died on his table who he failed to save, will forever haunt his dreams and conciounce. The friends who lived, will forever be his brothers in his heart.

Moving Along

Months after Boot camp Hicks Is still working for the 305th and then one day his radio calls out out him, "Smoke, Report to Command and Control." Hicks goes down to Command and Control and Find Max Fisher standing waiting for him. With a Private Standing next to him. Max was reclaiming the call sign, "Doc" And rejoining the 305th. He also introduced Smoke to a new friend and extremely talented Medic, Private Gregorian 'Gloves' Xeonoritatian. Hicks was indeed pleased to have Doc back and found that he had more time since he had help with managing the 305th now. So Hicks pursued training in other Fields Such as Designated Marksman Division Training and Explosives Ordinance Disposal Training and Engineering. He wanted to be wise to lead men safely through battle. One Day he started hallucinating and having disillusionment where he saw his own men as Taliban. He screamed and the men restrained him bringing him back into the medical Bay where he was treated. He was violent and lashed out when he was conscious. Eventually they held him down and tested his blood. In the machine suddenly exploded causing everyone to flee the Medical Bay. This revealed the Nitroglycerin that he was poisoned with. All he can do is wait out the poison, until it leaves his body. As he suffers this sickness on the battlefield he bravely pushes on, not letting this ailment stop him.

I loved you like a father....

On New Years Eve, Platoon Sierra was in the Afghanistan Capital of Herat, James was Laying on his bed sleeping when suddenly gunshots sounded throughout the halls of the bunker. He jumped out of bed and flung open his chest and started loading up his gear. More shots sound and he could hear his fellow soldiers, his friends, his brothers yelling about as they grabbed their weapons and jumped into the fight. The shots sounded like they were coming from the Mess Hall. James Got his F.A.M.A.S and quickly rounded the corner, gun up on his shoulder, ready to fire, ready to kill. As he did this, he saw his friend, his mentor, his idol of the Platoon, Max Fisher. Max was the single handed reason, James has reached his rank and his standing and skills in the Platoon. He looked up to Max like a father he never really had. As James' eyes landed him, suddenly he shook violently falling to his knees as blood spurted from his arm twice, his left pectorial and from his stomach, then fell to the ground sprawled out. James felt the pain of this sight rip through him and his emotions as a knife rips through the air. He ran forward, dropping his weapon and grabbed Max under the arms, screaming at the other soldiers,
"Kill that Bastard! No Mercy!"
James dragged his blood spurting body onto a table of the medical bay and called for all medical personnel to report to the Medical Bay. James Quickly hooked him up with an IV and Blood bag. Max's heart suddenly stopped and James Started doing CPR trying to bring his friend back. Thomas Role, a advanced medic approached and screamed, "CLEAR!" and then pressed the two defibulator paddles against Max's Chest. James yelled at him over and over,
"Again!"
Max suddenly shook and was revived and coughed up a fountain of blood, drenching James as he held his friends face knowing deep down, this was, the end.... James couldn't accept it and kept telling Max,
"Im going to fix you, like you fix everyone else. You taught me Max, I can do this."
He started pulling the bullets out and began to stitch up Max when suddenly, Max's heart gave out. Hicks suddenly ordered wit ha loud yell,
"Defibulator! Revive him!"
Thomas obeyed and did it over and over until Jake Dawn, order him to stop. Dawn tried to drag Hick's from the man, but James said to get his hand off of him. James wouldnt accept it and knew the others wouldnt go on trying to save Max, so he started pumping his chest, trying to revive him, on and on. James went on for hours muttering to himself, tears streamed down his face as realization fell over him and a gentle hand softly planted itself on his shoulder and a calm voice sounded,
"Hicks, hes gone...."
James buried his hands in his face as the tears streamed down his face as he looked at the man he loved as his father and felt the anger build up in him that he could not save Max, He angrily picked up his medical bag and threw it powerfully and angrily against the wall. He turned back to Max's lifeless body and spoke,
"You brought me into this! You fucking bastard! WHY did you leave me here, how could you leave me here Doc...."
He noticed something on Max's Vest that looked like a piece of paper. Hicks plucked it off his vest and looked at it, blood smeared with a finger print, it was a picture, of Max, James, and Max's Brother, Spade and all the other 305th medics standing smiling together. At this moment James screamed as they covered Max's Body and walked out, kicking the doors open and walked out.
This was one more man, James has lost, who meant more to him then his own life, the maker of his position and the Mentor who made Hicks who he was. He died with the valor and honor that he deserved and he received none less than he deserved, Rest In Peace Max Fisher, as you will not be forgotten, the photo stays with Hicks as he looks at it everyday as he wakes up and falls into the depths of the unknown, dreaming of the scene, every night, the torture and anger continuing, haunting him, as his family was wiped out, in front of his very eyes...

Back to the Beginning.... My Brothers... (Our Homepage Music is good when reading)

The Platoon is moving out, once again, and this time we are going back to where we began.... The first place James was deployed, when he was a recruit training and became a private. Zabenge, a forest area where there are extensive sewer and tunnel systems. Hicks is sitting in the Humvee, a Ciggarette in one hand, and he slowly reaches into his vest, and pulls out a picutre, it has dirt stains and on the back is a bloody finger print.

*The picture is shown, Max Fisher, Robert Fisher and Hicks are all standing together along with the rest of the 305th members standing and smiling together.

His eyes start to water for a moment, then the humvee slows down into a stop, he looks up, seeing he is back where he started. James holds the tears back, and pulls the handle, opening the door and steps out, into the blazing sun, beating down on him, his F.A.M.A.S in hand, gleaming in the sunlight. He look around, seeing the familiar sights slowly, cautiously. After a few hours go by, he walks out of the base to a checkpoint that was set up, "Alpha Six." Which was formerly known as "Six-Alpha"
As he stood there he looked down the opened train tracks at the enterance of the traintunnel where he saw some of his first action. and he took a deep breath. Suddenly, small arms gunfire was heard from ventilation shafts that led from the tunnels and from the tunnel openings. It sounded like local gunfire, AK47 model and then a unmistakeable .50 Caliber gunfire. He called for some men and he made a treck into the tunnel. He explained to them to keep their eyes on him as well as on their surroundings. The patrol easily made their way to the freeway tunnel where he looked over at the maintence tunnel door and suddenly heard a gunshot, then a loud explosion. Quickly the soldiers stacked up and he gave the signal,
" Three... Two.... One... Breach!"
He put his back to the wall and pushed the handle down, then kicked it open, Private John Frost walked around the corner, his gun raised, safety off and his stock on the shoulder firmly as he waved it back and forth examining the area for enemies. As they entered the room they found a decapitated man, and Spade laying in the Vent. Hicks didn't even ask. As they continued on, through the darkness, of the lowly lit, red light blooming tunnels. they found the gory sights. The first, they found a local, his head shoved inbetween the gears of a machine and a AK47 on the floor with carterages everywhere, but only, ONE .50 Caliber Shell. The men continued through the eerie, lights, powered by an emergency generator as they continued fading in and out of the darkness. The man sticking close behind Hicks, as he swiftly navigated the tunnels, his memory clear and brisk, the past rushing in, blasting him with knowledge. As he goes up the stairs, he turns the corner and stops. The soldiers hold up as he looks at the sight for himself and takes a breath and motions for them to move up. The men move up with him and see the gory sight, of a man, his head blown off, his gun infront of his limp body, inches from his dead hand, which looked to be reaching toward it, as if he had been crawling toward it. Blood pooled everywhere, around the cartages. Again, ONE .50 caliber bullet is found. Hicks turns and carefully pokes his head around the next corner, the men, shifting nervously on their feet... Hicks finds a man, dead against the wall, a blood flashlight on the ground, pointing at him, as you look forwards, flickering is around the corner as sparks emit. James, bravely walks forward, gun raised, ready to die where he began for his country as he approaches, he looks down, seeing the same scene, a legless man, cartages, and one Fifty Caliber Shell on the floor. As he turns the corner to his left he takes a deep breath as the men cringe at the display. There is a man, an electrical cord wrapped around his throat, and wrapped around the high voltage box, and his face is syinged, with burned flesh, the man's burnt corpse, still hanging limply on its knees... Hicks takes a deep breath and steps over the body. The men look at each other, fear in their eyes, valour in their hearts. As they decsend, they turn into a hallway and run into a ladder, where Hicks climbs up quickly. As the man behind him is climbing, there is a sudden, flush of light from above him, as Hicks pushes in on a rock, and pushes the door open, revealing a small hidden room. There is a man inside, slouched against the table, his head blown off, blood everywhere. As the soldiers enter they stare at the sight and look around where they see stockpiled weapons, food, ammunition. Hicks moves a few logs from the pile and runs his hand down the wall, feeling, the carved stone,
"Private James Hicks, Private Jason 'Owl" Hurtlock, Private Michael Scopefield."
He takes a deep breath, feeling the inscription, of his lost friends, comrades..... you could even call them brothers. As the patrol files out of the room, he quickly stops and turns back around and walks to the edge of the fire pit and removes a brick, he removes an envelope from the space under the brick, then replaces the brick and runs off catching up. He is in his past, he breathes from it, his eyes glisten in the sunlight, of the forests, where he has one intention, to serve his country. To keep his side of the pact, now its up to God and his heavenly diplomats to gamble for his life...

The Pact Lives on In our blood...

Hicks steps into the courtyard of the base and suddenly his radio has lots of yelling in it. James curiously walked over to Command and Control and found Spade using his drone and James watched over his shoulder has he searched for Kaitlyn Rome, a Engineer who has been captured. James reaches for his radio and firmly presses the transmit button and says,
"Someone, give me a sitrep, any backup required?"
A pararescue member answered him back,
"Prep the Medical Bay."
Hicks quickly Radioed for all medical personnel to report to the medical bay. He started prepping the medical bay, IV and supplies out and ready and the medics were readying themselves as they prepared to do their duties. Spencer Thompson who was a medic in the Rangers and Barney ****. His call sign was Warhound. They obediently prepared themselves and the three suddenly heard the fluttering of a chopper landing. Hicks quickly hurried out the door to the chopper and flung the door open, and pulled Rome out. He hustled her to the Medical Bay. As the men took her armor off, James Grabbed her dog tags to check the inscription for her blood type. Her blood type was the universal Donor, "O+". James Rummaged around in the freezer for quite sometime and discovered he could not find any of the right blood. Then his face darkened as he told the men to start on her wounds. James Pricked himself with a needle and connected his syringe with Rome's, flicked the valves, releasing his blood, into the poor girl. While he was doing this he carefully fixed up her shoulder and stitched her up. Every second that went by was another drop of blood he was losing until he collapsed, his face ghostly white and the sweat dripping from his forehead. After finishing with Rome, the men stopped the transfusion and pulled Hicks onto a bed. He seemed to be losing consciousness and had given Rome too much blood. A women named Michelle Scopefield interrupted and volunteered to give Hicks some blood. Hicks was completely against her doing this, since he made a pact with her brother and he didn't want to put his sister at risk. But against James' wishes, they gave him the transfusion where he allowed only enough to help him stay on his feet and function properly. The pact Hicks, Hurtlock and Scopefield lives on in their generations. As Hicks is still kicking, and not going anywhere anytime soon, the Scopefield family has proved their valor as Michael saved Hicks and now Michelle has saved Hicks. How long will it be until another of the pact has died out? Who will it be.... Hopefully this time will never come as Hicks struggles to his feet and stumbles out stubbornly to the battlefield....

You Have Become My Friend, Young And Ambitious, I Will Protect.

As Time goes on Hicks meets a new friend, Jennifer Greene. As time goes by he begins to get very close with her, taking her on patrols and such a lot. One day, boxes of ammunition fall from the back of a truck as it speeds away from Six Alpha. Hicks And Greenes Quickly ran off to investigate, as they are walking and searching gunshots sound from the tunnel loudly. Hicks quickly raises his gun to his shoulder and returns fire on him. The Two soldiers run up to the tunnel corner and jump around it firing. Jennifer Greene Runs to the Bus, firing at the man as Hicks gives her covering fire. Suddenly he turns and starts to reload his weapon, as he pushes his fresh magazine in he hears a women grunt and a small thudding sound. He turns around the corner and sees Greene on the floor against the Bus holding her stomach. He starts to rapidly fire back, as the man flees into the darkness. Hicks can hear gunshots from behind them as he runs forwards picking up Greene and Hauling her into the Tunnel access way. As he works on her he notices the is starting to pass out from blood loss. He quickly Starts a transfusion and pumps his blood into her for a hour, he drains himself till he can barely stand, and saves her life. She called out several times for him to stop the transfusion which he ignored and held her hand as he drained himself for her... The women he knows, is more than his friend, she has just become a part of family....

Leave me, to My Job.....

Greene eventually gained her strength back and suddenly disconnected the transfusion, stopping Hicks from giving her any more blood than she needed and weakening himself. Hicks had drained himself to the point to where he could hardly stand by himself. There was gunfire and explosions in the tunnel where their people were trying to get to them, but from what it sounded like, the American's were losing the battle. As the Arabian firearm shots grew closer, Hicks led Greene into the Tunnel System in which he knew by heart from his time being there as a private. As they Stumbled along, both of them weak in there strength, Greene weakened by a gunshot and Hicks drained of his blood, they trudged on. The voices of the predators, the animals, the Taliban could be heard as they chased them down. Suddenly there was a loud bang as the men were dropping from the vent from the next room. Hicks pulled Greene to the side around the corner and told her, to run as fast as she could, and not to come back. He took a magazine off of her belt and slapped it into his gun for the extra shots. She told him,
"No I am not leaving you."
He sighed and put his hand on the side of her face and responded quickly in fear with a tear forming near his eye,
"We both wont make it, Ill hold them off, get help! We wont make it at this rate, I can buy you time, I am right behind you."
She nodded to his small lie and started to run as he limped and stumbled backwards after her, Desert Eagle in his hand as he watched behind them. As the two made it to the corner, a man walked into sight of the end of the hallway and hicks mustered the strength to stand straight and steady, and fired his gun several times. The bullets flew through the air, piercing the other man's vest and his stomach. The Taliban man fall down, not moving. Suddenly two more jumped around the corner spraying shots, as Hicks Fired back then started to limp and stumble back away from the hallway. He quickly reloaded the Desert Eagle and was stumbling while holding his arm back and firing, hitting some of his attackers. Suddenly There was an explosion behind him, as the men through Dynamite at him. He Frantically turned the next corner and saw Greene stumbling slowly up the stairs and knew what he had to do. He turned around and loaded his last magazine into his weapon. As the mob started around the corner he fired, dropping one of them as he then backed up the opposite way Greene had fled. He drew them off the other way as he fired several times dropping two more. Then he took a grenade in his hand and as a man ran up to him, trying to tackle him, he dodged it just barely, and pulled the pin, sticking the grenade in the man's vest pocket and pulled the trigger with his other hand and pushed the man. The Arabian fall back on his back, and screamed with pain as the .50AE bullet seared through his leg and was pushed down. Hicks had let himself fall back into the water and as he was in the air, the Grenade exploded, knocking out his hearing and disoriented him to the point of where he was stunned and could not move. At the sight of this and the sight of the American Squads moving in, the Taliban retreated back... As the comrades dragged him out, they pulled him all the way back to base, where he would endure, a gruesome recovery....

Remember Everything But You....

Oh, dear mother, I love you

I'm sorry, I wasn't good enough

Dear father, forgive me

'Cause in your eyes, I just never added up

In my heart I know I failed you, but you left me here alone

Oh, dear brother, just don't hate me

For never standing by you or being by your side

Dear sister, please don't blame me

I only did what I thought was truly right

It's a long and lonely road, when you know you walk alone

*There is a Picture, The sides are singed and black from what looked like a fire, and the people on either side's faces are unable to be seen, the child in the middle is holding each of their hands*

On the back there is writing, "We've always loved you, believe in yourself, be the man we know you can be."

When Hicks buried the picture, letting go of the past of him losing his parents and never knowing them, he let it go. He felt the hate leave him, he became a new man. Recently, children with no parents have been appearing in the base all the time and its eating away at Hicks. He finally went down into the sewers and being to dig into this brick where he hid the picture, as he popened up the tin box and looked inside, he pulled the picture out, and suddenly a voice sounded behind him, "Freeze!" He turned around and saw his friend, Jennifer Greene. All he could think was,
"I'm sorry for the Demon I've become
You should be sorry for the angel you are not
I apologize for the cruel things that I did
But I don't regret one single word I said"

He felt responsible for these children being alone and Greene helped him realize, it was not his fault. Once they left the sewers they reported to where Hicks busied himself in the medical Bay. After he left the Medical Bay he walked over to Greene and a loud clattering sound emitted from the Tunnel enterance. Hicks and Greene walked over to it and looked down, as they were looking down, Hicks suddenly spotted four sticks of dynamite where he realized what was about to happen. He screamed suddenly,
"Get Back!"
He leaned forward pushing her back and fell into the hole, grabbing the rung of the ladder, dislocating his left arm, then the bomb exploded under him and he fell. The Smoke and flames licked at him and enveloped him as he fell and hit the ground rolling to one side where he became trapped in the rocks.... Hicks now has the blood gushing out of him wildly as he sloppily patches himself, trying to buy his life time, every second matters as his comrades dig him out of the collapsed tunnel. Once the rocks begin to clear, showing him the light of his men coming in, they immediately shoved an IV tube in his arm an the first person to step up to the plate, was Jennifer Greene. She stood by and said, "Returning the Favor" As she drained her blood into Hicks, saving him from the lick of death. Hicks passed out and when he woke, he was back in the medical bay, only able to walk with crutches for a time... Jennifer Greene came by, looking like crap and made Hicks rest. In return she did as well as she sat down next to him he slid his arms around her waist and she basically immediately passed out next to him. Hicks, still, not sleeping just sat there staring as she fidgeted and woke a few hours later screaming. The two now lay together soothing each others fears, their nightmares, their wounds, strengthening their friendship each day...

The Zombie Apocalypse

One Day on a Mission, the chopper was landing for extract when suddenly packs of people ran toward it mauling the men inside. A Zombie Apocalypse was erupting! As the men quickly Ran as fast as the could toward the base gunshots sounded and Hicks could here his men being torn to pieces behind him, as he approached the base, the remains of his long time friend Max Jirokat lay splatter on the floor. His eyes widen as he runs into the base and looks around, pulling no man from the wreckage as they are all chopped to bits. He slowly reaches to his belt slapping a magazine in and kicks down the door to Command and control. As he enters a body moves and he crouches down beside it. Its Captain Sarah Rusk. He holds her head up with one hand and she slowly pushes the Captain Chevron into his palm and says, "Save our people, Its up to you." With those final words her hand goes limp and her mouth hangs open as he dies in his arms... Hicks then stood up and says to himself, "I am now alone.... I am the Lone Wolf...." That night he sewed that Call-sign into his vest and continues on fighting for his country in this fucked up world....
